Diana is a first year neurology resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She earned a B.A. in Philosophy and B.S. in Neurobiology and Physiology, at the University of Maryland in College Park and then joined The Center for Global Health at the National Cancer Institute as a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow. She completed a Masters of Bioethics at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and JHU Berman Institute of Bioethics, focusing on epistemic injustice resulting from inequalities of epistemic labor from the primary care level and across health systems. She worked with the Global Bioethics Program at JHU before starting medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and spent her research fellowship examinging the ethics of care in precision medicine through patient experiences with tissue-based research. In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her dog, Niko.
