Matthew Shea, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Franciscan University of Steubenville. He completed a B.A. in philosophy at Boston College, a Ph.D. in philosophy at Saint Louis University, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Ethics at the UCLA Health Ethics Center. He specializes in moral philosophy and bioethics, and his current research focuses on happiness and well-being, natural law and virtue ethics, and various topics in health care ethics.
