Meg Menzel, MS, CGC, HEC-C is an ABGC board -certified Genetic Counselor and an ASBH certified Healthcare Ethics Consultant. Originally from the Washington DC area, she spent 14 years at Children's National Hospital (CNH) working in Fetal medicine and Ethics where she was the Director of Genetic Counseling for the Fetal Medicine Institute and then the Associate Director of the Pediatric Ethics Program and co-chair of the Children’s National Ethics Committee. She remains a Clinical Assistant Professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Columbia University Medical Center’s Department of Medical Ethics and Humanities where she teaches Ethical Considerations in Genetics and Genomics and Clinical Encounters to the Columbia University Genetic Counseling Graduate students. She works as a Healthcare Ethics Consultant at Chilton Medical Center.
