Jeremy Snyder is a Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada. He received his PhD in philosophy from Georgetown University. His research interests focus on ethical issues arising from international trade, especially trade in health services. He is currently engaged in research projects on medical crowdfunding, medical tourism, and the exploitation of hope for a better life. He is the author of Appealing to the Crowd (2023) and Exploiting Hope (2020), both published by Oxford University Press.
