William Choi is a medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He received his BS with honors in Neuroscience and double majored in Philosophy at the Johns Hopkins University, and completed his Master of Bioethics degree at Harvard. William conducts research on the ethics of treating patients with neuropsychiatric conditions and reconciling stakeholder evaluations of neurocritical outcomes. He has received several awards for his work in bioethics and has published in journals such as the Journal of Medical Ethics, Academic Medicine and Neurology. As a clinical ethicist, he sits on the Rhode Island Ethics Committee and aspires to practice as a neurointensivist.
