Lainie Friedman Ross, MD, PhD is the inaugural chair and Dean's Professor in the Department of Health Humanities and Bioethics and Director of the Paul M Schyve MD Center for Bioethics at the University of Rochester. She holds secondary appointments in Pediatrics, Neurology, and Philosophy.
