Is Philosophy of Medicine a Subfield of Philosophy of Science?
While it is certainly possible to use the tools of philosophy of science to gain insight into the nature, aims, and scope of medicine, in this talk I will examine the view that treating philosophy of medicine as a subfield of philosophy of science places undue limits on what the philosophy of medicine can be.
