Connect with colleagues from Mayo Clinic Biomedical Ethics Research and Mayo Clinic Dolores Jean Lavins Center for Humanities in Medicine. Members of the Biomedical Ethics Research Program conduct rigorous research, teach ethics courses, and engage in policy discussions about ethical questions to help ensure that biomedical science and health care are conducted with human decency and fairness. Our program also offers a robust selection of education and training opportunities. The Center for Humanities in Medicine supports Mayo Clinic’s primary value, the needs of the patient come first, by integrating the arts and other expressions of human culture into the healing environment. The Center engages interconnected communities of patients, families, staff, learners, and the public to promote the artful and compassionate delivery of healthcare. Preview the schedule at the booth table to connect with the Director of Humanities in Medicine, Director(s) of Biomedical Ethics Research, and discuss research training opportunities with staff and current trainees.
